Using LIbrary computers

Take advantage of the free computer and internet access facilities available in all libraries in East Dunbartonshire.

Free WiFi is available for public use in William Patrick, Bishopbriggs, Bearsden and Lennoxtown Libraries.

Library members must agree to abide by our Acceptable Use Policy, and guest users must show valid proof of name and address and  complete and sign a Computer & Internet Users  Agreement. Children and young people under the age of 16 must have their form counter-signed by a parent or guardian.

Computers sessions of up to one hour can be booked either by phone or in person.

Digital Learning

Staff are trained in the use of computers and computer networks to enable them to provide assistance for library users. They can also advise you about a range of available digital learning sessions and other  learning opportunities.

Library Learning Suites are available at Bishopbriggs, Milngavie and William Patrick Libraries.

Adaptive software and equipment is available for the visually and/or hearing impaired. Wheelchair access is possible at specified PCs in some libraries
