Saturday 9th September 2017
'Doors Open Day' is an annual event that takes place all over Scotland allowing people entry without charge to buildings and attractions not normally open to the public. The Doors Open Day event forms Scotland's contribution towards European Heritage Days.
2017 will be the nineteenth year that East Dunbartonshire has taken part and the focus this year is on the Year of History, Heritage and Archaeology, and is our chance to highlight, celebrate and promote Scotland’s achievements in these areas. A number of new venues are open this year, as well as some long standing contributors. This is a free event which includes something of interest for all the family including walks, tours and lots of fun activities!
Details of which venues are open in East Dunbartonshire this year can be found in our Doors Open Day 2017 brochure.
