Minimum Operating Requirements (MOR) and MOR+
East Dunbartonshire Leisure & Culture Trust Minimum Operating Requirements aims to support community clubs achieve long term sustainability. (MOR non-sports club, MOR & MOR+).
Part of this commitment is to introduce MOR and MOR+ scheme that will help all club sections to become stronger, more effective, more efficient and more enjoyable places in which to play sport. Unlike other accreditation schemes, this one provides a framework for a club to show what it is doing, how it does it, and where it can improve.
Becoming an MOR or MOR+ club it will aim to assist clubs when applying for funding and working with potential partners community sports hubs, Local Authorities, School, Colleges, Universities, Youth and Community Organisations. It will also allow you to demonstrate your strengths and how you can provide sporting opportunities within the community.
Applying for MOR and MOR+ will be an online process with clubs required to provide evidence on completion in various formats.
For 2019 we are aiming for the majority of our current community clubs to achieve the new MOR and MOR and for as many as possible to be working towards the accreditation level the following year.
Additional details on the process of obtaining MOR and MOR+ and the full criteria for each level of MOR will be available March 2019
