About
Visual artists and craft makers who live or have a studio in East Dunbartonshire are being offered the chance to draw down funds to boost their creative and professional development.
EDLCT has secured external funding from Creative Scotland to provide fixed grants of £500 or £1,000.
It is part of the 2027 Visual Artist and Craft Maker Awards (VACMA). The deadline for submissions is 5pm on 2 February 2027.

- Professional training, courses and/or peer-to-peer learning
- Mentoring and skills development
- Testing new ideas and processes
- Researching and developing a new body of work
- Residencies that are tailored to your creative and professional development.
Please ensure you read the VACMA guidance carefully before filling in an application form. Completed forms should be emailed to Culture01@eastdunbarton.gov.uk
