Explore your library on the go with the LiDA app – download from the App Store or Google Play. Quickly search the entire catalogue including eBooks, eAudiobooks and magazines, place reservations, renew your items and receive personalised recommended reads!

Scan&Go

The most exciting feature of the LiDA app is the Scan&Go self-service function. When you’ve chosen your books in branch, you can check them out on your own device using the app – great if you’re in a rush!

Manage your account

Renew items, create your own book lists, and link children’s accounts so you can manage the whole family’s library use in one place.

Barcode scan

Browsing books at the shops? Use the app to scan the barcode at the back of the book, LiDA will search the library catalogue to see if you can borrow it instead!

Discover and reserve

Search the catalogue and reserve the titles you want to borrow. We’ll contact you when they’re ready to collect.
Personalised recommended reads will be featured in the ‘Recommended for you’ section, based on books you’ve previously borrowed.

How to log in

To log in to the LiDA app, search for your library then enter your library barcode and PIN.

Need to reset your PIN? Do this on our online catalogue, alternatively you can ask at your local library or email libraries@eastdunbarton.gov.uk to have it reset.
