How to book

Adult & Child / Pre School Lessons (children under 5 years old only) 

Those who are in lessons (November 2019 – March 2020):

All classes have been confirmed by e-mail. The next term will start in March and details on how to book will be with you by the start of February.

Those who are not in lessons and wish to start:

In order to book classes you must register for our online system (Horizons). Registrations can be made by selecting the Sports Development form

We are only accepting bookings for our ‘Frog’ classes starting in January. Please select this link for information on how to book:

Swimming Lessons (children over 5 years old, adult lessons, teenager lessons and for children with a disability)

Those who are in lessons November 2019 to March 2020

All classes have now been confirmed by e-mail. If you have not applied we have very limited spaces available therefore please contact us by telephone to discuss availability. We shall not accept bookings from January for this term.

Those who are not in lessons and wish to start:

Classes are now full for this term. Details on how to book for the March term shall be published here in the New Year.

Remember – we have Adult ‘Drop In’ lessons which can be booked on a week by week basis. Further details by selecting the ‘Adult Lessons’ link in the menu

Holiday Programmes

We run an exciting programme of Lessons and activities over the school holidays and these classes can be booked online. To do this you must first register your child. To do this please select the Sports Development form. Once we create a membership we will advise you how to register and how to book!  If you already have a ‘Horizons’ account for your child you can log in and book when open.

Children who can swim

Children must be assessed to ensure that we can place them in a level appropriate to their ability. Generally, we would class a non swimmer as a child who cannot demonstrate an understanding of all 4 strokes (front and back crawl, breast stroke and butterfly).  

The next assessments will be held on the following dates:

Monday 9 March – Kirkintilloch Leisure Centre

Tuesday 10 March – Allander Leisure

*Adult & Child and Pre School lessons are for children under the age of 5.

*Children 5 years old or over will go into our main lesson programme.

*All term dates posted on our website is provisional and are subject to change.
